  • The Advertising Century
"We set out to examine all the ways in which advertising has entertained, moved and motivated us over the years. This issue celebrates and ranks the 100 best campaigns of the 20th century (hint: Don't think big). It also celebrates and ranks the 100 most influential people in the businesses we cover."
  • Kevin Morrison Collection
Kevin Morrison transferred ten years worth of print accumulation to the Special Collections and Archives of the Glasgow Caledonian University Library in 1999. The Collection remains in Kevin’s ownership, with GCUL acting as custodians, and is centred on the Second World War, with an emphasis on the social implications of a whole range of Home Front activities. See the collection overview.
  • Nazi and East German Propaganda Guide Page
"Propaganda was central to Nazi Germany and the German Democratic Republic. The German Propaganda Archive includes both propaganda itself and material produced for the guidance of propagandists. The goal is to help people understand the two great totalitarian systems of the 20th Century by giving them access to the primary material. "
  • Propaganda on Show
"In March 1995, an exhibition of Chinese propaganda posters was on show at the premises of the publishing company Gruner + Jahr in Hamburg, Germany. Some sixty propaganda posters from the collection of the Dutch sinologist Stefan Landsberger, dating from the early 1970s until 1993, chronicle the developments in style and content of this medium, and afford glimpses of the changes in Chinese society."

It is possible to hire this exhibition.

  • Propaganda Critic
In 1937, the Institute for Propaganda Analysis was created to educate the American public about the widespread nature of political propaganda.

One publication was Propaganda Analysis, the arguments of which are summarised on this web site.

  • Propaganda and Psychological Warfare Studies
"This section consists of materials that may be among the most important you will ever read. As modern technology provides humankind with capabilities never even imagined by many of us a decade ago, we can be sure that the global battlefield of the 21st century will be over information -- the dissemination or withholding of facts, the interpretation of events, the presentation or distortion of ideas and ideologies, and the communication of messages and symbols carefully prepared to provoke a particular reaction, either conscious or unconscious, from a target audience."
  • Propaganda Leaflets of the Second World War
"I'm a historically interested collector of propaganda leaflets from the second World War. All combatants in that war used propaganda as one of the means to fight the enemy."

Plenty of information on 'black propaganda'

  • The Propagander (the Art of Propaganda)
Many propaganda posters, propaganda comics and other various types of propaganda.
